Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and update project cost forecasts (Estimate at Completion - EAC)
  • Set-up and maintain Earned Value Management Systems for tracking progress
  • Analyze actual vs. planned man-hours for efficiency control
  • Establish jobs including structure and budget in SAP ERP system
  • Collect progress and cost data from various project phases to support Project Managers
  • Consolidate project cost data into reports for Project Manager's review
  • Prepare project cash flow and support in updating schedules with contractors

What you will enjoy doing*

  • In this role, you will constantly evaluate and update the accuracy of the project cost forecast (Estimate at Completion - EAC) by assessing actual cost incurred and physical progress achieved for all phases of a project (Engineering, Procurement, Fabrication, Construction, Commissioning)
  • You will be in charge to set-up/update Earned Value Management Systems for project progress tracking
  • Further, you will provide efficiency control by comparing actual and planned man-hours
  • You will set up and maintain jobs (i.e. structure and budget in SAP ERP system)
  • In addition, you will support Project Managers by collecting all relevant progress and cost data from Engineering, Procurement, Fabrication, Construction
  • You will also consolidate data in Project Cost Report for Project Manager's review and approval
  • Additionally, preparing project cash flow is part of your role
  • You will work with fabricators and construction contractors to update overall schedule and progress forecasts
  • Also, you will support Project Manager in estimating and incorporating change orders, in contingency management and all other Cost Controllers on projects outside those they are directly assigned

  • Further, you have 3-5 years experience in cost forecasting, scheduling (P6), risk management, change management and reporting
  • You have an intermediate to advanced level skills with Microsoft Office software; Word, Excel, Access and database technology's
