Job SummaryThis role serves as a key liaison between project management, project teams, planning functions, line management, and customers to ensure project objectives are achieved on time, within budget, and in accordance with quality standards. The successful candidate will monitor project schedules, budgets, and deliverables, identify and resolve project issues, and support cross-functional teams in delivering products and services that meet customer expectations.
Under general supervision and regular review, the Project Control Analyst II is responsible for managing and coordinating the daily operational aspects of a project and serves as the liaison between project leads and executive management in the Electrical Engineering Department. They will continually review status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and develops appropriate reports to document progress of the project. This position will participate in the development of mechanisms and tools for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project leads, executive management, and internal customers. This position may include coordination across other engineering departments, program office, flight test facilities, and manufacturing. Assignments are normally accompanied by general instructions and suggestions, outlining possible approaches, sources or information, and potential problems to be encountered with work reviewed regularly for soundness of technical judgment, overall adequacy and accuracy.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:- Prepares schedules and budgets, and performs monitoring, analysis and reporting on assigned contracts.
- Monitors and assures budget availability, proper approval authorization and charge accounts. Tracks the status of procurements for the purposes of cost reporting.
- Develops and maintains master program schedules for assigned contracts.
- Interfaces with operating and support groups (Purchasing, Finance, QA) to collect data for preparation of schedules and reports.
- Provides task leaders and program managers with clear, timely and accurate information and make recommendations with which to make decisions.
- Assists in the development of reporting procedures to evaluate project status, valuation of work in progress, and tracking of contract deliverables.
- May contribute in the preparation of cost/schedule, variance and earned value reports/analysis.
- Responsible for observing all laws, regulations and other applicable obligations wherever and whenever business is conducted on behalf of the Company.

Job Qualifications- Typically requires education or formal training equivalent to the completion of a bachelor's degree in business administration or a related discipline, along with three or more years of related experience. May substitute equivalent experience in lieu of education.
- Must have general knowledge of accounting principles, planning and tracking procedures and manufacturing systems in a research or production environment.
- Possess good organizational skills. An effective communicator with the ability to write, interpret and explain programmatic issues.
- Knowledgeable and experienced with the following electronic software: word processing, spreadsheet, e-mail, and project management.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Security Clearance is required.
