Description
The Project Architect will be responsible for comprehensive project design, coordination, and management of projects during construction. Job Responsibilities- The candidate shall have excellent collaboration skills necessary for working with project team members and contractors. Manage and produce quality design and construction documents.
- Coordinate communication between the client and the project team.
- Senior Level Project Architects may participate in business development activities including regular business development meetings, following through with assigned activities, collaboration in developing responses to RFQ/P's, attendance at select conferences and business development events, leveraging, maintaining, and developing your professional network of contacts.
- Maintain and develop your professional goals and contribute to thought leadership in alignment with the work of the Firm.
Supervisory Responsibilities Emerging Professionals
Required Qualifications and Experience- Five (5) to Fifteen (15) years of applicable experience
- Professional degree in architecture required
- Licensed Architect preferred, LEED® accreditation a plus
- Revit experience is required
- Experience designing and coordinating new, expansion, and renovation projects
- Knowledge of design process, construction documentation, construction administration and materials

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Keen attention to detail and a high level of organization.
- Ability to manage time effectively, especially when handling multiple projects.
LocationThis position shall be based in Portland, ME. The position is required to be in the office on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday with optional remote days Monday and Friday of each week.
Physical DemandsRequires the ability to sit for extended periods, stand, bend, walk, communicate via telephone, computer and/or face-to-face contact, and use basic office equipment such as a personal computer, copier and scanner regularly during work. Work is performed in an open-office environment. The ability to navigate construction job sites is required.
