Job Description

The Role -
As the "right hand" to the CPM, you will drive the operational engine of the program. You will act as the essential conduit between the CPM, the Finance department, and the Government customer, ensuring total compliance and precision in all deliverables. Beyond operational governance, you will provide critical support for the Special Communication Rapid Integration Facility (SCRIF), managing the unique requirements of this facility to ensure peak program readiness and mission success.

Key Responsibilities -
Operational Governance & Compliance
  • Deliverable Management: Own the CDRL (Contract Data Requirements List) lifecycle; ensure the correct deliverables are submitted on time and align strictly with the Technical Direction Letter (TDL) and project requirements.
  • Government Liaison: Act as the primary coordinator for obtaining COR (Contracting Officer's Representative) and KO (Contracting Officer) approvals for critical material and travel requests.
  • SOW Alignment: Monitor program activities to ensure all deliverables and requests remain within the defined scope of work and project requirements and are being delivered under the accurate contract CDRL.
  • Risk Mitigation: Identify and monitor potential project risks and work with the CPM to develop and track mitigation strategies.
Financial Monitoring & Coordination -
  • Financial Oversight: Partner with the Finance team to monitor program spend, labor forecasts, monthly contract reports, and funding plans, providing the CPM with real-time visibility into the program's financial health.
  • Performance Tracking: Review financial reports to identify trends or variances, alerting the CPM to areas requiring strategic attention.
  • Resource Coordination: Assist in the development of funding plans and labor forecasts to ensure operational needs are met.
Program Partnership & Execution -
  • CPM Strategic Support: Serve as a dedicated business partner to the CPM, managing the operational "engine" so leadership can focus on high-level strategy and customer relations.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Bridge the gap between program teams, functional partners, and the finance department to ensure all requirements are synchronized.
  • Process Optimization: Implement continuous improvements to internal tracking and reporting workflows to increase efficiency and accuracy.

Potential Supervisory Leadership & Team Management Responsibilities
  • Cross-Program Supervision: Provide guidance, oversight, and daily direction to a team of Project Analysts supporting multiple contracts; review work for accuracy and ensure team-wide deadlines are met.
  • Mentorship & Development: Lead the professional growth of the analyst team, ensuring consistent application of BAE Systems' operational standards across all supported programs.
  • Workflow Optimization: Lead the implementation of improvements to internal tracking and reporting workflows to increase efficiency and accuracy across the analyst pool.
