Job DescriptionPosition Summary The Project Accountant is responsible for coordinating all phases of the construction job costing process including categorizing, recording, analyzing and monitoring costs and billings associated with a large construction project as well as several smaller less complex projects. This position also assures vendor compliance in order to manage project risk. This role is assigned to a large construction project, working closely with the Project Manager to assure timely and accurate accounting and risk management throughout the project life cycle.
Position Details- Compiles, prepares and analyzes monthly project billings per contract requirements.
- Performs financial analysis and reconciliation of project costs versus project budget.
- Manages vendor compliance, insurance, lien waivers, retention and W-9s
- Produces and analyzes job performance and profitability through jobs cost tracking reports.
- Assists in preparation of status reports and maintains accurate project statuses and budget information in COINs.
- Identifies and resolves basic and more complex project-related accounting issues and resolves in a timely manner.
Qualifications - Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Financepreferred or equivalent experience
- 3-5years'of project accounting experience preferred

Pay: Final pay is determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data. For Washington, this ranges from $37.78-$44.66 hourly plus annual incentive, benefits, and retirement program as outlined above.
