What You Bring to the Arena- Keep preconstruction and design moving - aligned, on budget, and on schedule - from first sketch to final GMP.
- Take ownership of preconstruction schedules, budgets, and deliverables from day one.
- Engage architects, engineers, estimators, and consultants to keep project objectives aligned.
- Track timelines and milestones, and flag risks before they become problems.
- Coordinate design reviews across disciplines and support feasibility studies, value engineering, and constructability reviews.
- Coordinate GMPs and lump-sum values with design-build and design-assist subcontractors.
- Build strong client relationships through responsiveness and follow-through.
The Skills Behind the Build- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
- 5-10 years of experience in project management or preconstruction within commercial construction.
- Experience with design-build or design-assist delivery methods.
- Solid understanding of construction budgeting, scheduling, and process from the ground up.
- Proficiency with project management tools and software.
- Willingness to travel occasionally (up to 20%) and visit active job sites as needed.
