Job Title: Programmer - Advanced (Application Development) (10780)
Location: Columbia, SC (100% Remote)
Duration: 12 Months (Extension Possible)

Candidate Location: Must be a CURRENT South Carolina resident (No relocation)
Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain custom applications across multiple technologies
- Develop and manage relational databases and data structures
- Support integration between new and legacy systems
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues in applications
- Modify and enhance existing applications for performance improvements
- Ensure data integrity and consistency across systems
- Collaborate with technical teams to streamline workflows and system interactions
- Provide end-user training and technical support when required
- Maintain documentation, project plans, and status updates
- Perform quality control checks on applications and databases
Required Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering or Computer Science
- 10+ years of experience in database design and development across:
- Microsoft SQL Server
- Oracle
- MySQL
- PostgreSQL
- 10+ years of experience in application development using:
- VB.NET
- ASP.NET
- C#
- ColdFusion
- Strong experience in:
- Full SDLC (Design, Development, Testing, Deployment, Support)
- Data-driven and web-based application development
- System integration and data flow management
Preferred Qualifications - Experience working with Horry County Schools applications such as:
- Online Academic Application
- Ticketing System
- Travel Application
