Job Description:

Title: Programmatic Manager

Team: Phreesia Network Solutions

Location: Canada Remote (ET/CT timezones)

As our Programmatic Manager, you’ll own campaign strategy, setup, activation, and ongoing optimization across demand-side platforms, serving as the primary day-to-day internal point of contact for a managed book of business. You'll be hands-on throughout the full campaign lifecycle — from planning and technical setup through performance monitoring, optimization, and post-campaign analysis. Success in this role means delivering flawless campaign execution, translating data into actionable insights, solving problems quickly, and partnering across teams to create exceptional outcomes for clients.

If you're a confident self-starter who thrives in fast-moving environments and enjoys combining technical expertise with strategic thinking, we'd love to meet you.

What You’ll Spend Your Time Doing

Strategy & Execution

  • Own end-to-end campaign management across programmatic channels, from planning and setup through launch and ongoing optimization

  • Set up, traffic, and activate programmatic campaigns across DSPs such as The Trade Desk, DeepIntent, Google Ads, and similar ad tech platforms

  • Perform thorough pre-launch QA on creative assets, landing pages, tracking pixels, audience segments, and placements to ensure accurate setup and measurement

Operations & Performance

  • Monitor live campaigns for pacing, delivery, and performance, flagging issues proactively and executing optimizations to align with client KPIs

  • Execute in-platform trading activities including budget adjustments, pacing optimizations, and delivery troubleshooting

  • Support budget tracking, invoicing reconciliation, and billing accuracy across your managed book of business

Data Analysis & Reporting

  • Track and maintain campaign pacing and performance trackers, surfacing trends and optimization opportunities on a regular cadence

  • Prepare final post-campaign reports that translate data into a compelling, insight-driven story for internal and external stakeholders

Recommendations & Client Communications

  • Serve as the primary day-to-day internal point of contact for your managed campaigns, ensuring clear and timely communication across internal teams

  • Collaborate with Client Services to fulfill client deliverables including campaign modifications, trafficking updates, and ad operations support

  • Deliver actionable, data-backed recommendations throughout the campaign lifecycle, translating performance insights into clear strategic guidance

  • Own responsive, professional client communications, translating technical campaign details into clear, accurate updates and ensuring stakeholders are proactively informed throughout the campaign lifecycle.

What Makes You a Great Fit

  • You don’t need to check every box — but this role will feel energizing if you:

  • Have hands-on experience managing programmatic media campaigns across display, video, and connected TV (CTV).

  • Understand programmatic best practices across campaign strategy, optimization, trading, and performance analysis.

  • Are comfortable activating campaigns in leading DSPs such as The Trade Desk, DV360, DeepIntent, Amazon, or similar platforms.

  • Can confidently manage multiple campaigns, deadlines, and stakeholder priorities simultaneously.

  • Communicate complex performance data in a clear, actionable way for both technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Thrive in fast-paced environments while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.

  • Take ownership of your work and proactively solve problems before they impact campaign success.

  • Bring experience working in agency, client services, digital media, or ad operations environments.

  • Have experience supporting healthcare, pharmaceutical, or life sciences advertising campaigns.

  • Are familiar with tagging, ad serving, campaign management platforms, and audience solutions.

  • Are curious about how AI can improve media workflows and enjoy sharing new ideas with your team.

  • Have experience with tools such as FreeWheel, Google Ad Manager 360 (GAM360), Swoop, Crossix, Excel, or other business intelligence and analytics platforms.

We Do Have A Few Requirements To Check

  • Bachelor’s degree required.

  • 3–5 years of hands-on programmatic media experience across display, video, and CTV with direct activation experience in one or more major DSPs.

Where You’ll Work

  • This is a remote role in Canada, with the expectation that you’re based in EST or CST location, preferably in Ontario.

Compensation & Rewards

  • Annual Base Salary for Canada-based employees range from $110,000-$130,000 CAD dependent on qualifications.

  • A comprehensive Total Rewards package designed to support your whole life — not just your work.
