You will translate the PCE's technical direction into executable integration plans, drive hardware/software integration across the product lifecycle, and ensure technical integrity for development, production, and sustainment. This position is in St. Charles, Missouri.

Reporting to the DA Office of the Chief Engineer working closely with the Program Chief Engineer for independent technical direction, you will coordinate IPT activities, manage supplier integration, close technical risks, and prepare executive-level technical briefings. • Validate system-level integration, verification & validation plans; coordinate test readiness and acceptance activities.
  • Identify, assess, and drive mitigation/closure of program technical risks and escalated issues; produce Courses of Action (COAs) for resolution.
  • Lead anomaly management and Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) processes in coordination with mission assurance and quality teams.
  • Coordinate supplier technical integration activities; support supplier reviews, acceptance testing, and nonconformance resolution.
  • Prepare and deliver concise executive technical briefings, status updates, and risk reports for the PCE, Program Manager, and customers.
  • Support PCE approval of engineering directives, systems engineering processes, continuous improvement initiatives, MRB/CCB/ERB decisions, and proposal technical scope reviews.
  • Contribute to SOW development for R&D, sustainment, and new business needs; advise on technical staffing and resource requirements aligned to LRBP / EAC.
  • Ensure adherence to export control and DoD technology release processes when working with controlled technical data.

Day-to-Day Activities / Typical Duties
  • Chair or support weekly technical integration and risk review meetings; issue action logs and decision summaries.
  • Review and approve integration-related deliverables: interface control documents (ICDs), verification plans, test reports, and supplier integration artifacts.
  • Maintain views that track technical baseline changes, risk status, and integration milestones.
  • Triage supplier and internal technical issues; lead cross-functional root-cause investigations and implement corrective actions.
  • Coordinate test planning and execution with test leads, manufacturing, and suppliers.
  • Lead, mentor and drive integration best practices and engineering rigor (BPSM/RCCA).
