Program Security Representative Senior in Chantilly, VA

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Ensure strict compliance with Industrial Security Program requirements and applicable DoD, IC, and SAP regulatory guidance governing SCI and SAP activities.

  • Develop, implement, and refine policies and procedures for safeguarding SCI and SAP information in support of U.S. military operations.

  • Provide daily security support, continuously assessing procedures to identify shortfalls and recommending improvements to security policies, processes, and systems.

  • Identify and assess vulnerabilities, threats, and risks to test, training, and operational activities, incorporating CI perspectives and threat reporting where applicable.

  • Support the development, implementation, and delivery of Operations Security (OPSEC) and counterintelligence awareness training and education.

  • Promote a strong CI and security culture by advising personnel on foreign intelligence threats, insider threat indicators, and reporting requirements.

  • Provide guidance, assistance, and oversight to contractors and subordinate facilities on all aspects of security and CI awareness.

  • Brief government, military, and senior civilian leaders on a range of security and CI-related topics, including threat trends and risk mitigation measures.

  • Conduct and document SAP facility compliance reviews, follow-on reviews, and facility close-outs, including CI-relevant risk considerations.

  • Monitor, track, and report corrective actions resulting from compliance reviews to ensure timely closure and sustained compliance.

  • Ensure timely notification and elevation of pertinent security and CI matters to program technical, management, and security staff.

  • Investigate any loss, compromise, or suspected compromise of classified or sensitive information, including conducting preliminary inquiries and preparing damage assessments.

  • Coordinate with SAP security and CI personnel to incorporate lessons learned into SAP security education, awareness, and training programs.

  • Provide leadership, mentoring, and oversight to team members, contributing to a high-performing, mission-focused security team.

What You’ll Need to Succeed

Experience/Education

  • 14+ years of related security experience; OR

  • 10+ years of related security experience and a Bachelor’s degree in a related field; OR

  • Associate’s degree in a related field and 2 additional years of experience; OR

  • Equivalent experience (additional 4 years).

  • 4+ years of SAP-related security experience required.

  • Demonstrated counterintelligence awareness and experience supporting CI, insider threat, or related security programs preferred.

Experience/Education Equivalencies

  • Security Fundamentals Professional Certification (SFPC) may be credited as 3 years of experience.

  • Special Program Security Certification (SPSC) may be credited as 5 years of experience.

  • Maximum equivalent experience credit for SPED certifications is 5 years total.

Clearance

  • Active TS/SCI required to start.

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI with CI polygraph.

Travel

  • 10–25% travel required.

The likely salary range for this position is $128,039 - $173,229. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
