MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented
Program Security Officer 1 (PSO 1) to join our team in Chantilly, VA.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: - Assisting with a myriad of security issues and concerns to government and program security officers in different geographical locations
- Developing skills in classification management, program security, information systems security, personnel security, contract, and physical security for the purpose of guidance to customers and industry partners
- Supporting briefings and indoctrinations to a variety of audiences
- Aiding the preparation of recommendations on current security issues for program security decisions to Directorate and Office Directors of Security, Program Managers, and Directorate leadership
- Domestic Travel and OCONUS up to 25%
Minimum Qualifications:- HS Diploma and 3 or more years of relevant security experience or Associates degree and 0-3 or more years of relevant security experience or Bachelor's Degree and 0-3 or more years of relevant security experience or Masters/Doctorate and 0-3 or more years of relevant security experience
- Ability to participate in working high-level, complex or sensitive security issues thoroughly and with discretion
- Demonstrated ability to research and identify multiple sources for classification determinations control, marking, and dissemination principles and requirements to include FOIA and Pre-publication reviews
- Ability to develop a working knowledge and be able to implement Intelligence Community Directives as well as NRO Directives and Instructions
Preferred Qualifications:- Familiarity with ICD 503 and 705
- Experience working with industrial security staffs
- Understanding of NRO Security Tools and applications
- Knowledge of Security Program Oversight Manual (NISPOM) security policy and procedures
- Awareness of program protection methodologies and risk management principles as they relate to appropriately protecting and sharing information, missions, operations, and assets
Security Requirements:Must have a current/active TS/SCI w/Polygraph
Physical requirements:- Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%
- Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
- Frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations
- Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations
The projected compensation range for this position is $66,000.00-$109,200.00. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
