Job Description:

Parsons is seeking an exceptionally talented Program Security Analyst to join our dynamic team! In this critical role, you will provide program security, administrative, and analytical support to the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense for Research and Engineering (OUSD(R&E)). You'll play a key part in supporting national security initiatives and collaborating with top professionals in the field.

What You'll Be Doing:
  • Deliver daily program security and operational support to government personnel and OUSD(R&E) program activities within a classified environment.
  • Assist in implementing, coordinating, and maintaining Department of Defense (DoD) and organizational security policies, procedures, and requirements.
  • Maintain accurate program, security, personnel, and administrative records using government and organizational databases and information management systems.
  • Perform database entry, records review, data validation, tracking, and reporting to ensure information is accurate, current, and properly safeguarded.
  • Support security-related administrative activities, including maintaining and tracking sensitive and classified records, documentation, and program information.
  • Conduct analytical research and compile information from multiple sources to support government decision-making, reporting, and program requirements.
  • Review records and documentation for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with applicable policies and procedures.
  • Apply experience with security operations, law enforcement records management, evidence management, and chain-of-custody procedures to ensure effective information and asset control.
  • Coordinate and provide administrative and logistical support for government meetings, briefings, reviews, and other program activities.
  • Prepare, organize, maintain, and distribute meeting materials, correspondence, reports, presentations, spreadsheets, and other program documentation.
  • Track program actions, suspense items, deliverables, and requests, coordinating with government and contractor stakeholders to ensure timely completion.
  • Support supply, equipment, and resource accountability activities in accordance with organizational standards and procedures.
  • Provide professional and responsive customer support to government leadership, program personnel, contractors, and other authorized stakeholders.
  • Handle sensitive and classified information with discretion and in accordance with all applicable security requirements.
  • Identify discrepancies, potential security concerns, or procedural issues and promptly escalate them to appropriate personnel.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of administrative, records management, database, and security processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.


Required Clearance:
  • Must be a U.S. citizen.
  • Must have an active Top Secret clearance with a current T5 background investigation.


What Required Skills You'll Bring:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field, and 5+ years of relevant experience.
  • Experience supporting Department of Defense or Intelligence Community organizations.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in secure or classified environments and handle sensitive information appropriately.
  • Experience with administrative operations, records management, database management, security functions, or similar program-support roles.
  • Strong ability to maintain accurate and detailed records across multiple systems and databases.
  • Demonstrated analytical and research skills, with the ability to collect, review, organize, and interpret information from diverse sources.
  • Excellent organizational skills and keen attention to detail.
  • Sound judgment, discretion, decisiveness, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a commitment to providing outstanding customer service.
  • Ability to independently prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with government personnel, contractor teams, and other stakeholders.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Experience using multiple databases, records-management platforms, or government information systems.


What Desired Skills You'll Bring:
  • Previous experience providing government contract support within the Department of Defense or another federal agency.
  • Experience supporting security programs, security operations, personnel security, physical security, information security, or related functions.
  • Familiarity with DoD security policies, procedures, and classified information handling requirements.
  • Experience with law enforcement records, evidence management, controlled materials, or other environments requiring strict documentation and accountability.
  • Experience coordinating meetings, maintaining action-item trackers, preparing briefing materials, and supporting senior government personnel.
  • Familiarity with government property, supply, or resource-management procedures.


Security Clearance Requirement:
An active Top Secret security clearance is required for this position.

This position is part of our Federal Solutions team.

Salary Range: $88,400.00 - $154,700.00
