Full Job Description
Position Summary:

We are seeking a Program Scheduler to own the scheduling function company wide. As the sole scheduling authority, you will build, standardize, and maintain Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) across all active programs spanning subsystems through full spacecraft/vehicle lifecycle phases. You will work closely with every Program Manager and Integrated Product Team (IPT) lead to ensure each IMS remains the accurate source of truth for leadership and customers alike. You will work cross functionally and support the senior leadership team in determining resource allocations and program/project prioritization based upon program/project needs. This role carries full ownership of scheduling process, tooling, and standards across the business.

Responsibilities:

  • Own the development, status, and maintenance of the IMS and Integrated Master Plan (IMP) across all programs and program phases from requirements review through design reviews, assembly, integration and test, and delivery/launch as applicable
  • Establish standardized scheduling processes, templates, and best practices to be applied consistently across the full program portfolio
  • Build and manage WBS-linked schedules and resource-load each IMS on a regular cadence
  • Perform critical path methodology (CPM) analysis, schedule risk assessments, and float trending across all programs to proactively identify and mitigate delays
  • Coordinate schedule integration across programs, subcontractors, and suppliers; maintain sub-tier schedule visibility
  • Prepare and deliver schedule status packages for Program Management Reviews (PMRs), Integrated Baseline Reviews (IBRs), and customer reviews across the portfolio
  • Ensure schedule compliance with CDRL/SDRL requirements and contract data deliverables
  • Support proposal teams with schedule basis of estimate (BOE) development and risk assessments for new business pursuits
  • Document scheduling processes and maintain program control records; conduct data quality assessments in preparation for surveillance reviews

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a business or related technical field
  • 5+ years of experience in program scheduling on U.S. government defense or aerospace programs (10+ years preferred)
  • Proven ability to independently own and scale a scheduling function, not just execute within one
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Project, Excel, and SharePoint
  • Demonstrated experience with Critical Path Methodology (CPM)
  • Familiarity with government acquisition and reporting processes (CDRLs, SDRLs)
  • Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills; ability to communicate schedule status to senior leadership across multiple programs simultaneously
  • Must be able to obtain and hold a U.S. security clearance

Preferred Qualifications

  • PMI Scheduling Professional (PMI-SP) or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
  • Experience with hardware-intensive spacecraft or vehicle programs (AIT, launch campaign planning)
  • Comfortable operating in a lean, fast-moving, limited-resource environment where you're building the function as you go

Benefits

  • Paid holidays, sick time and unmetered vacation
  • Excellent health and dental plans with 80% employer contribution
  • 4% company matching 401k plan with immediate vesting
  • Life Insurance
  • Long-term / short term disability
  • Education assistance
