As a Program Operations Analyst
, you will perform the following duties:
- Program and Project Management: Provide technical, analytical, and logistical support for organizational programs, including proposal reviews, award decisions, and program evaluations. Collaborate with leadership to develop plans, policies, and budgets.
- Data Analysis and Reporting: Collect, analyze, and interpret data to create meaningful metrics, track program success, and provide recommendations to improve program outcomes and efficiency.
- Proposal and Award Processing: Coordinate and implement proposal and award processes, assist applicants with eligibility and submission requirements, and troubleshoot issues related to proposal processing.
- Evaluation and Improvement: Assess program effectiveness, identify trends, and recommend improvements to systems, processes, and policies to enhance organizational operations.
- Technical Leadership and Guidance: Lead projects, coordinate teams, provide training, and offer technical advice to improve workflows, resolve issues, and support organizational initiatives.

QualificationsTo qualify at the GS-13 level, you must possess at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level in the federal service
leading and analyzing a variety of projects and programs in support of organizational mission requirements.Examples of experience include :
- Serving as a project and/or program manager for multiple activities with organization-wide scope;
- Performing complex analyses of organizational programs;
- Recommending and implementing programmatic updates and process improvements;
- Supporting the development of short-and-long term plans, schedules, and budget requirements in collaboration with organizational leadership;
- Leading functional teams in collecting, analyzing, interpretating, and communicating results as part of overall data analysis efforts.
Experience refers to paid/unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training/experience that translates directly to paid work. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
EducationEducation may enhance skills required for this position; however, no substitution of education for specialized experience may be made at this level.
