Job Description:

HOW A PROGRAM MANAGER WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
  • Direct, manage, and administer all tasks and be responsible for communicating with the COTR.
  • Sponsor's primary contact for matters involving technical performance, cost, and schedule and is responsible for keeping the Sponsor informed of progress and problems in a timely manner.
  • Performs project managerial duties, which include but are not limited to maintaining required staffing levels of qualified personnel and assuring quality, content, and prompt delivery of all task and contractual deliverables. As required, the PM will support technical tasking.
  • Serves as the primary focal point for contract performance, to include technical performance, cost, schedule, security, staffing, and allocation of appropriate skill mix aligned with tasking and contract deliverables
    Is vested with the authority required to meet this responsibility and has direct access to senior corporate management to obtain the necessary project resources on a timely basis
  • Implements and manages on-boarding activities
    Ensures the required level of expertise and competency of personnel are maintained in all assignments and kept current with rapidly evolving technologies
  • Ensures delivery of quality products while meeting all Sponsor schedules and timelines
  • Ensures vacant positions are filled within the contract timelines
    Coordinates and participates in quarterly Project Management Reviews (PMR)
  • Tracks, manages, and controls costs (as well as labor hours for level-of-effort work)
  • Identifies and schedules technical personnel against assigned tasks and ensures on-time delivery
  • Manages subcontractors effectively
  • Immediately informs the CO or COTR upon obtaining information relevant to the contract


WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree (Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Systems, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a closely related discipline)
  • Required Experience: 8+ yrs
  • Security Clearance Level: TS/SCI with active polygraph
  • Location: McLean, VA - On Customer Site

The likely salary range for this position is $174,250 - $235,750. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
