Sr. Program Manager

As a Sr. Program Manager, you will lead and oversee the performance of a relatively significant program or multiple programs in accordance with contract requirements and company policies, procedures and guidelines. The program area typically represents more than three functional areas. Ensures successful execution of initiatives, managing multiple projects simultaneously while meeting quality, budget, and timelines expectations.

Location: Mississauga, ON

Salary: $130,000 to $150,000

Criteria such as the candidate's qualifications and relevant experience, the scope of the specific position, as well as market and business considerations will be evaluated when extending an offer.

Your Challenge:
  • Defines, launches, and drives mission-critical strategic and operational initiatives in core programs. (20%)
  • Leads and monitors multiple projects within the program, ensuring adherence to established standards and best practices. Identifies potential risks and develops mitigation strategies. (20%)
  • Resolves a wide range of issues in imaginative as well as practical ways. Creates a method of change management including ownership of a documentation library, communication plans, process training, etc. (20%)
  • Responsible for complex program management tasks and development of standards and processes for scheduling, administration, and accounting. Defines, acquires, and allocates budget, staff, and other resources necessary to accomplish the goals and/or objectives of the program group/function. (20%)
  • Conducts market and trend analysis to inform program direction and drive innovation. Stays abreast of industry developments to enhance program competitiveness. (20%)


What You Bring:
  • Demonstrated ability to manage large-scale, complex projects and programs, utilizing established methodologies and best practices
  • Strong leadership skills with experience in driving organizational change
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills with experience in risk management and performance optimization
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office and proficiency in project management software and tools
  • Must be able to successfully meet the requirements for the Controlled Goods Program (CGP), pass a security assessment equivalent to an Enhanced Reliability Check and a successful completion of a Background Check (including Crim)
