Full Job Description
PE Systems, Inc. has a great opportunity for a Program Manager, Senior in the FLRAA program in Huntsville, AL.

General Function:
  • Serve as the Program Manager (PM) responsible for leading and managing complex, distributed workforces.
  • Demonstrated experience in performing complex ACATI development programs
  • The PM shall be agile in management approach and experienced in leading a complex and distributed workforce which may alternate between on-site collaborative locations and off-site locations including alternate authorized virtual and physical work locations.
  • Support program execution and perform additional management responsibilities as required to meet task order objectives.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships to support program success
  • Track program performance, identify deviations, and recommend corrective actions
  • Assist with driving detailed planning, rigorous execution, and on-time delivery of complex engineering activities and integration efforts
  • Knowledge of the defense program acquisition life cycle processes as addressed in the DoD 5000 series instructions.
  • Knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), Department of Defense (DoD) regulations, requirements, policies and procedures, cost and schedule estimating, systems disciplines, and commercial practices relating to weapon systems procurement and production.
  • Experience in interfacing directly with government designated representatives and supervising various task order activities.

Qualifications:

Education/Certifications/Experience/Skills:
  • A bachelor's degree or master's degree in business, management, engineering, or science with a minimum of fifteen (15) years demonstrated management experience, including ten (10) years of demonstrated program management experience.
  • 10 years of experience in Senior positions in Government Program Offices or other nongovernment organizations closely related to the Defense Acquisition Process.
  • Must possess and maintain a government security clearance at the Secret
  • Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft programs (including Excel, Word, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Access, Visio, and Project).
  • Must be able to perform all functional duties independently.
  • Must be able to transport self to various facility sites, as required. If using own motor vehicle, must possess a valid driver's license and proof of insurance.
