Job SummaryUnder the direction of the Director of the Special Education Local Plan Area (SELPA), the Program Manager-SELPA coordinates and supports the operational, fiscal, compliance, and data management functions of the SELPA. The position is responsible for coordinating special education funding activities, state and federal reporting, compliance monitoring, data systems, and operational processes to ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and SELPA policies.
The Program Manager-SELPA serves as a technical resource to SELPA staff, member Local Educational Agencies (LEAs), County Office departments, and external agencies by providing guidance related to special education finance, data reporting, compliance requirements, and operational procedures. The position coordinates projects, develops operational processes, provides training and technical assistance, and supports continuous improvement efforts that promote efficient operations and high-quality services throughout the SELPA.
