Rincon Research Corporation (RRC), an employee-owned company, is seeking an experienced Program Manager to work in a multi-disciplinary R&D environment with similarly motivated electrical engineers, mathematicians, computer scientists, and analysts who are collectively responsible for creating custom digital signal processing solutions and leveraging them to make an operational mission impact.

What are the primary responsibilities in the Program Manager position?
Core responsibilities include implementing Program Management Rigor to a recently-declared Government Program of Record working with engineers and other teammates in carrying forward Government-recognized best practices across the program lifecycle. Other tasks include managing integrated master schedule, managing contract deliverables, developing and managing the forecast for staffing based on program priorities, developing and delivering communications products, and in general, assisting in cost, schedule, performance, budget, risk, and communication. The ability to work unsupervised with minimal direction and the ability to self-start is a must.

US CITIZENSHIP REQUIRED
Current and Active TS/SCI Clearance
Bachelors of Science in Business Administration or related field (MBA strongly preferred)
At least fifteen years program experience in efforts involving signal processing, geolocation aerospace, electronic systems, communications, software development, or similar technology developments
Program Management Experience in an Acquisition Category (ACAT) 1D acquisition organization
Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) Level III certification in Program Management
Ability to effectively communicate (oral and written) to Government Stakeholders
Problem-solving skills: Ability to perform systematic analysis of systems to identify software, hardware, and interface issues and support resolution across the system lifecycle is crucial
Attention to detail: Ability to identify and articulate discrepancy reports outlining issues or bugs with mitigation response deadlines
Analytical skills: Ability to develop and interpret complex technical requirements and associate those to system engineering milestones within the development lifecycle
Preferred skills:
High level Government Acquisition Experience
Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
Leadership, organizational awareness, and partnering
Creative Thinking: Ability to connect disparate project parts to spot risks early and fix roadblocks without breaking the main schedule

Where is the position located?
This position is located at our Chantilly, VA office.
*The likely salary range for this position is $240,000 to $260,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
