About the Role

As a Program Manager, PMO and Change Lead, you will serve as a key member of a dedicated program team supporting one of Caterpillar's most visible facilities initiatives by supporting planning, coordination, and execution. You will serve as a key program management resource responsible for driving schedule management, project controls, contractor coordination, compliance, and stakeholder engagement across multiple initiatives.

This role requires a highly organized and disciplined professional who thrives in fast-paced environments and can effectively navigate competing priorities. This role combines program management, project controls, occupancy planning, stakeholder readiness, and change management responsibilities. The successful candidate will help coordinate employees, occupancy trends and transitions, communications activities, program governance, and project execution efforts while ensuring alignment across multiple stakeholder groups.

You will interact with internal leaders, engineering teams, contractors, procurement partners, and external organizations while helping maintain control of complex programs and deliver business-critical outcomes.

The ideal candidate combines strong project management fundamentals with the ability to influence diverse stakeholders and execute with urgency, discipline, and attention to detail.

What You Will Do

Program Execution & Project Controls
  • Manage schedules, milestones, and program deliverables across multiple initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain project controls, dashboards, and reporting tools.
  • Monitor progress against scope, budget, and timeline commitments.
  • Identify and mitigate risks that may impact project outcomes.

Occupancy, Change & Business Readiness
  • Coordinate employee relocation and occupancy planning activities.
  • Support development and execution of move strategies and workplace transition plans.
  • Partner with Communications, HR, Facilities, Security, IT, and Business leaders to ensure organizational readiness.
  • Assess employee impacts and identify risks associated with major facility transitions.
  • Support development of communication plans, stakeholder engagement strategies, FAQs, and readiness activities.
  • Coordinate execution of business continuity and employee transition plans.
  • Monitor stakeholder concerns and help drive issue resolution.

Compliance & Governance
  • Support compliance with Caterpillar processes, procurement requirements, and safety standards.
  • Partner with Purchasing and Goods & Services teams on project-related activities.
  • Maintain project documentation and governance records.
  • Support regulatory compliance efforts, including OSHA-related requirements where applicable.

Stakeholder Management
  • Partner with HR, Communications, Facilities, Engineering, Procurement, Security, IT, and Business Operations leaders.
  • Support executive communications and project governance activities.
  • Drive accountability and issue resolution across stakeholder groups.
  • Communicate status updates, risks, and recommendations to project leadership.

Summary Pay Range:

$159,120.00 - $238,680.00
