Position Summary

The Program Manager is a strategic leader within the Corporate IT - Business Operations Technology team, responsible for advancing payroll process excellence through technology innovation and continuous improvement. This role establishes nationwide standards, develops and executes program roadmaps, and ensures seamless integration across cross-functional teams.

The Program Manager drives organizational success by overseeing a portfolio of interrelated initiatives, managing dependencies, and optimizing resources to maximize business value and operational efficiency.

Position Details
  • Lead and oversee a portfolio of programs and projects aligned to payroll and business operations technology
  • Manage complex and standard custom development initiatives from concept through delivery
  • Drive the implementation of enterprise-level solutions, ensuring alignment with business goals
  • Develop and maintain program roadmaps, annual plans, and strategic priorities
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate cross-project risks and dependencies before they impact program outcomes
  • Collaborate with vendors and manage third-party relationships supporting program delivery
  • Facilitate effective stakeholder engagement, communication, and alignment across all levels of the organization
  • Champion organizational change management and support adoption of new processes and technologies
  • Lead and manage contractors, consultants, and cross-functional project teams
  • Partner with leadership to resolve issues, remove obstacles, and drive continuous improvement
  • Analyze business operations to identify strengths, gaps, and opportunities for optimization

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in program management, business analysis, or engineering roles
  • Experience in construction industry preferred
  • Hands-on experience with enterprise HRIS/payroll systems required
  • Strong strategic thinking with the ability to evaluate and compare multiple solution options
  • Advanced facilitation and meeting management skills
  • Deep understanding of organizational readiness and change management practices
  • Proven ability to build relationships and lead cross-functional teams
  • Expertise in developing enterprise-level process architectures and frameworks
  • Strong coaching and mentoring skills for developing team members
  • Solid understanding of emerging technology trends and their business relevance
  • Demonstrated leadership and decision-making capabilities
  • Experience with Lean methodologies, process mapping, and information/document management
  • Strong executive communication skills with the ability to present to senior leadership and stakeholders

Pay: Final pay is determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data. For (Colorado/New York City/California/Washington/Maryland) this ranges from $120,000 - $160,000 plus annual incentive, benefits, and retirement program as outlined above.
