Senior Partner Business Development Manager

Location: United States Work Arrangement: Remote

About the Role

The Senior Partner Business Development Manager is responsible for the growth of the company's partner network and ecosystem — including recruiting, onboarding, and go-to-market efforts for all partner types to drive revenue growth and new market entry.

Your Role Responsibilities? Here's What You'll Do.
  • Lead the qualification and pursuit of new potential ISV, VAR, OEM, and SI partnerships — prioritizing partner efforts based on industry and/or region goals and targets while collaborating with peers in the company's commercial organization to reinforce partner go-to-market strategies.
  • Lead the development and execution of specific contractual agreements, enablement, and business plans — successfully marketing and deploying company industry solutions while monitoring and reporting on partner ecosystem performance, including identification of appropriate partner coverage and industry or geography requirements.
  • Partner with marketing to support go-to-market efforts — providing input to the development of sales collateral and events targeted to relevant markets while leveraging strong knowledge of SaaS software solutions or Enterprise Content Management (ECM) to drive partner adoption and ecosystem growth.
  • Operate as a trusted advisor to potential customers — developing and maintaining strategic working relationships while applying significant experience in sales, business development, strategic alliances, or product marketing to drive revenue growth and new market entry across all partner types.
  • Demonstrate critical thinking and creativity to influence, motivate, and mobilize team members and business partners — applying strong facilitation and project management skills to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while effectively gaining consensus across all levels of the organization.
  • Mentor, coach, train, and provide feedback to other team members — contributing to the continuous improvement and professional development of the team while providing feedback to leadership on team member abilities and fostering a high-performing, collaborative partner development culture.
Role Essentials

You'll be set up for success if you have:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience — with significant experience in sales, business development, strategic alliances, or product marketing and a proven track record of starting, developing, and monetizing partner alliances
  • Strong knowledge of SaaS software solutions or Enterprise Content Management (ECM) — with the ability to leverage industry expertise to drive partner ecosystem growth, revenue generation, and new market entry across ISV, VAR, OEM, and SI partner types
  • Strong oral and written communication skills — with a professional demeanor, the ability to interact with others with discretion and tact, and demonstrated ability to compose and present information and ideas in group settings across all levels of the organization
  • Strong facilitation and project management skills — with demonstrated ability to think critically, be creative, and influence, motivate, and mobilize team members and business partners while thriving in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Strong ability to establish rapport and gain the trust of others — with effective consensus-building skills, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to maintain solid rapport with team members and professionalism with those outside of the department; up to 25% travel time required
