Description

The Program Manager provides comprehensive program, training, and administrative support to the Office of the Dean Student Services Division at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio. This role supports aerospace and operational medicine education and readiness programs by managing training and continuing education initiatives, collecting and analyzing program data, maintaining credentialing and compliance records, coordinating with military and civilian stakeholders, supporting policy development, managing readiness reporting, and ensuring alignment with organizational goals. The position requires strong program management, communication, data analysis, and administrative skills within a healthcare, medical education, or military environment.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or 10+ years of professional experience, including at least 4 years in a medical-related environment.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and other standard office applications.
  • Experience creating and maintaining complex reports, spreadsheets, presentations, and program documentation.
  • Knowledge of Air Force, DoD, military, and civilian policies, procedures, and professional standards.
  • Understanding of Comprehensive Medical Readiness Programs, medical training administration, continuing education programs, and nursing competency management.
  • Experience collecting, analyzing, and reporting training or operational data to support organizational decision-making.
  • Ability to obtain required access credentials and successfully complete USAFSAM orientation requirements.
  • U.S. citizenship and ability to satisfy all government background and security requirements.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior program management experience supporting military medical organizations or federal agencies.
  • Previous instructional, teaching, or training delivery experience.
  • Office management or executive administrative support experience.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including data analysis, reporting, and dashboard development.
  • Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS).
  • Knowledge of Air Force Medical Service Clinical Practice Guidelines and Joint Trauma Service programs.
  • Experience managing credentialing, licensure, certification, or continuing education tracking programs.
  • Familiarity with medical readiness reporting and healthcare compliance requirements.
  • Experience supporting government contracts or DoD education and training programs.
