Summary

You will serve as a PROGRAM MANAGER in the acquisition life cycle program of NAVSEA HQ FIELD SUPPORT.

Duties

Help

  • You will have the ability to supervise and direct multi-disciplinary subordinate organizations to achieve program goals.
  • You will have mastery of and skill in formulating strategies and tactics to acquire and allocate resources to achieve program goals, milestones and/or schedule

  • You will have mastery knowledge of planning, programming, mission relevance, command priorities and operational concepts and execution of the Navy's mission and the assigned program's place in executing the mission.
  • You will have skilled ability to represent the organization to senior level personnel internal and external to the Department to provide written and oral advice, direction, or reports on program concepts and diffuse sensitive program issues.
  • You will have mastery of skills and ability to stimulate, organize and lead results-driven interactions with all organizational stakeholders.
  • You will have mastery knowledge and skill of the acquisition life cycle to direct highly complex defense programs.

  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.


Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NH-03 pay band (GS-13 equivalent grade level) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: managing and executing industrial operations by coordinating technical data, and analysis of information (e.g., budget/financial performance, business analysis, workload leveling, or data analytics) intended to inform and guide decisions to support strategic planning initiatives for a shipyard or industrial organization. Examples of specialized experience include Demonstrated experience and expertise working with senior leaders (internal and external to the Command) to address complex issues and coordinate unified responses to data calls, requests for information, inquiries, and similar efforts and activities. Demonstrated expertise reviewing and analyzing complex information and data needed to inform senior leadership decision-making. Expertise summarizing analysis and/or findings and conveying this information to senior leadership in a wide range of formats which include emails, briefings, issue papers, etc. Demonstrated ability to coordinate and guide a leadership team tasked with resolving long-standing problems and issues, particularly as related to public shipyards.
