JOB SUMMARY

The Program Manager is responsible for the overall leadership, direction, and management of the program. This role ensures high-quality services, strong team performance, and compliance with agency, contractual, and regulatory requirements. The Program Manager oversees program operations, supervises staff, manages budgets, and builds community partnerships to support participant success and program growth.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensure full adherence to Clubhouse International Standards across all program operations.
  • Oversee direct services, ensuring quality care, and highest professional standards.
  • Supervise program staff, includingLead Coordinator,Clubhouse Coordinators, and other team members.
  • Train staff and members on Clubhouse philosophy, work-ordered day structure, and employment pathways.
  • Maintain positive morale and staff cohesion as evidenced by maintaining a cooperative attitude, flexibility, and effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ensure staff complete timely documentation and meet minimum requirements for direct client billable services as contractually required.
  • Timely recruitment and retention of qualified candidates. Provide regular supervision, consistent feedback, and ongoing support. Develop team comradery and excellent communication.
  • Manage billing expectations and deliverables. Understand budget and review monthly operating statement to ensure financial integrity.
  • Facilitate scheduled meetings. Document agenda and attendance accordingly.
  • Support fundraising, advocacy, and public awareness efforts when applicable.
  • Lead the recruitment, selection, and onboarding of Clubhouse Advisory Board members to ensure diverse representation of community partners, employers, mental health professionals, and individuals with lived experience.
  • Evaluate advisory board participation and effectiveness, providing guidance and support to strengthen engagement and alignment with program priorities.
  • Comply with Clubhouse International Accreditation Standards.
  • Represent the Clubhouse in community forums, stakeholder meetings, and public events.
  • Respond quickly and appropriately to emergencies and crisis intervention.
  • Other relevant duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree in behavioral science and threeyearsof experience orassociate's degree in behavioral scienceand three years ofsupervisoryexperience or 5 years ofsupervisoryexperience in the behavioral health field or SUD Certification/Registration.
  • Valid CA driver's license and current auto insurance per contract requirements required.
  • Experiencesupervisingmental health and/or substance use disorder services preferred.
  • Cultural competency understanding required. Bilingual preferred.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office and EHR software preferred.
