Applied Research Solutions is seeking a Program Manager to provide support to the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center/PEO Electronic Systems Directorate (AFLCMC/HB).
The Air Force Program Execution Office for Electronic Systems (AFPEO/ES (formerly AFLCMC/HB)) has the collective Air Force Materiel Command (AFMC) mission responsibility to manage and execute the modernization, development, testing, production, fielding, and sustainment of the PEO Electronics Systems portfolio, which includes over 130 programs for the United States Air Force (USAF) and foreign allies.
AFLCMC/PEO Electronic Systems Directorate is headquartered at Hanscom Air Force Base, MA, with geographically separated operating units CONUS and OCONUS.
This position is performed onsite at Hanscom AFB; the expectation is five days a week in office.Responsibilities include:In this role, you will leverage comprehensive knowledge of program management and research principles, system acquisition, and organization management, as well as expertise in roles and relationships within the ES and Division Leadership. You will be responsible for supporting the Operations Chief of the entire directorate, in areas that crosscut overall execution and integration within the USAF LCMC portfolio. Examples include inspection support, policy and procedures development/roll out, compliance analysis, planning, research, reporting, and assessing overall portfolio health, reporting and operational impacts for PEO review and approval. Additionally, you will coordinate PEO ES operational events, engage with Division leadership, other Operation support functionals (OSFs) and collaborate with system acquisition technical directors to support the development, production, and deployment of weapon systems and associated equipment.
Duties include, but not limited to:
- Develop and support briefings, schedules, reports, and acquisition documentation for senior leadership.
- Assist with leadership reviews, Integrated Master Plan/Integrated Master Schedules, and senior-level meetings.
- Provide recommendations to Directorate leadership based upon analysis and research of assigned tasks.
- Support acquisition planning activities and systems architecture development efforts.
- Coordinate with divisional POCs for directorate level taskers.
- Represent the directorate in meetings, working groups, and technical forums as directed.
- Support program office activities including design reviews, technical interchange meetings, interface control working groups, and program assessments.
- Maintain and update collaboration environments within Microsoft Teams and Share-Point.
- Develop briefing materials, reports, whiteboards, meeting documentation, and other communications products.
- Assist in establishing and maintaining enterprise level solutions and compliance
- Coordinate with internal and external government agencies and stakeholders.
- Support directorate standardization efforts.
- Provide administrative support to the PEO ES Chief of staff, including scheduling meetings, tracking actions, monitoring tasks, and coordinating responses.
- Coordinate industry engagement activities and interactions with OSFs, SMLs and other senior leaders within the directorate.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications/Technical Experience Requirements:- Must be a U.S. Citizen
- Active Secret Security Clearance required
- Knowledge of system acquisition and program management principles
- Experience supporting acquisition programs throughout the program lifecycle
- Ability to access program schedules, cost baselines, and program performance
- Experience in MICT inspection software
- Experience generating documentation and support for Senior leadership review and approval
- Experience developing recommendations and alternative courses of action to address program challenges
- Experience briefing USAF Senior leaders of analysis results and recommendations
- Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) required
- 5 years of directly related experience, with at least 2 years in the DoD environment
- Experience in USAF Divisional/Directorate operations supporting
- Familiarity with Command-and-Control systems or ISR-related programs
- Experience supporting USAF senior leadership
- Experience coordinating within and across government agencies

The expected annual salary range: $130k - $140k. Salary is dependent upon the role and associated responsibilities, candidate's experience, and qualifications to include education/training, and key skills.All positions at Applied Research Solutions are subject to background investigations.
