Responsibilities

  • Educate employees on clinical competency requirements and related procedures.
  • Participate in internal audits and assist with external compliance reviews.
  • Evaluate the tracking and reporting of clinical competencies through collaboration with Quality and Safety teams.
  • Work with clinical educators to support competency education initiatives.
  • Build a technology infrastructure for tracking licenses, certifications, and competencies across departments.

Overview

The Program Manager - HR Operations is responsible for ensuring compliance in areas of licensure, competency, registration, and certification management. This role plays an integral part in documentation and training of process and technology that supports programs in a compliance focused way.

Responsibilities
  • Design and implement training programs for HR. Establishes training and educational methods, designs and produces training materials in a variety of formats (job aids, videos, user guides, and online training sessions).
  • Handle internal oversight of organizational competency and compliance in collaboration with the Organizational and Employee Development Team. Identify opportunities for improvement and addresses vulnerabilities and the related organizational risk.
  • Develop procedures and tools to ensure adherence to appropriate regulatory standards for competency management.
  • Design and implement comprehensive education for employees on clinical competency requirements, responsibilities, procedures, tools and any related technical solutions.
  • Assist and participate in internal audits and reviews. Support preparation for external regulatory audits.
  • Assess adherence to standards for identifying, assessing, tracking and reporting of clinical competencies by collaborating with Quality and Safety to conduct tracers and audits.
  • Work with clinical educators to train, communicate, and support competency education.
  • Build technology infrastructure for capturing/documenting competencies, licenses, registrations, certifications for appropriate departments.
  • Manage and operationalize process for capturing and tracking licenses, registrations, competencies, certifications for compliance & audit purposes.

  • Qualifications
    • Bachelor’s degree with five (5) years of relevant work experience or the equivalent in education and experience required.
    • Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills with the ability to work with diverse functional areas across the organization using a consultative and partnership-oriented approach.
    • Excellent communication skills with demonstrated ability to synthesize complex projects/data.
    • Excellent time management skills and the ability to initiate and follow-through on projects with little supervision or guidance.
    • Proven ability to think critically and problem solve while balancing multiple priorities.
    • Program and project management skills and experience required.
    • Ability to adapt and execute on rapidly changing priorities.
    • Experience building and analyzing databases, or previous work with a variety of technology platforms preferred.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite including Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Visio, SharePoint.
