Overview:

This is a Mon-Friday, 8am - 5pm role that requires you to be in person 100%.

This role has oversight for main campus clinic and our outreach clinics throughout central Ohio and/or surrounding areas.

You must have the following;
  • MSN Degree required
  • At least 3 years of management experience
  • Experience managing multi-displinary service lines and multiple clinic locations preferred.
  • Valid Ohio driver's license and proof of auto insurance is required by hospital policy. Must pass a motor vehicle background inspection, insurance eligibility, driving qualifications and training set forth by Nationwide Children's Hospital and must maintain qualification of insurance guidelines.


Job Description Summary:

Plans, implements, and evaluates the administrative, operational, supervisory and direct care activities for an assigned cost centers (Urology clinics). Leads a multi-disciplinary team of professional and support staff in strategic directives and care activities to ensure the assigned department achieves best outcomes for patients, families and staff.

Essential Functions:

  • Develops expense, operational and capital budgets. Monitors, evaluates and justifies monthly budget expenditures and revenue.
  • Recruits, trains, evaluate, develops, disciplines and/or terminates subordinate staff. Assures that performance standards for all staff are met.
  • Promotes teamwork by building a team environment and fostering cross-functional collaboration.
  • Ensures regulatory compliance and emergency response preparedness.
  • Maintains safety and quality as priorities, providing direction, prioritization, accountability, enthusiasm and support for safety and quality initiatives.
  • Coordinates staff representation on departmental, hospital and community task forces, committees, quality teams and advisory groups. Serves as a representative to such groups when appropriate.


Education Requirement:

MS required, if BSN must obtain MS in 3 years and currently enrolled in a program. Work requires a level of knowledge equivalent to that obtained by completing a master's degree program in nursing, hospital administration, business administration, or closely related field.

Licensure Requirement:

Current Licensure in area of clinical practice in the state of Ohio.
