- Direct long-range planning for equine program operations.

Conditions of employment- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which include 1) Manage a complex equine program involving animal care operations; 2) Experience managing equine facilities, including stables, riding areas, training grounds, and support structures, ensuring they meet all Federal, safety, and environmental requirements; 3) Direct long-range planning for an equine program: and 4) Develop and implement policies governing equine operations ensuring alignment with agency directives. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-13).
