Full Job Description
Overview

Join our team and support the OSD ManTech Program and Technology Innovation Industrial Base (TIIB) office on the WHS ManTech Program Support Services contract by strengthening connections between ManTech and key industry and Congressional stakeholders. You will engage with industry associations such as NDIA, NAM, and AIA, monitor the legislative landscape, and support Reports to Congress and technology investment analysis, ensuring the defense industrial base and DoD leadership remain aligned on manufacturing technology priorities.

 

**Position is contingent upon contract award**

 

 

Work Schedule and Location:

Hybrid: This full-time hybrid position will work Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm with some onsite work in Alexandria, VA.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure compliance with, and provide organizational support to, technology transfer efforts
  • Manage technology projects aligned with strategic priorities of offices such as Biotechnology, Advanced Materials, and Sustainment Technologies
  • Strengthen connections between the ManTech program and key Government stakeholders
  • Engage with industry associations (NDIA, NAM, AIA) and other DIB members, including shipbuilders and bioindustrial sector representatives
  • Identify potential technology solutions and define the scope of investment opportunities
  • Evaluate the potential impact of technology investments on the DoD
  • Monitor the legislative landscape and provide the ManTech program office with timely summaries of Congressional committee reports, conference reports, and enacted legislation
  • Analyze and report on Congressional districts directly impacted by ManTech Program investments
  • Assist in preparing Reports to Congress, responses to Questions for the Record, and answers to general inquiries directed at the ManTech Program
  • Manage multiple, concurrent projects and tasks while delivering high-quality, timely work products
  • Communicate with stakeholders across functional disciplines, including at the most senior levels of Government
  • Assess urgent workload assignments and manage actions to timely conclusion

 

Qualifications

Required: 

  • Bachelor's degree in any field from an accredited college or university
  • Ten (10) years of experience in a Research and Development (R&D) environment, R&D-related programs, or similar programs (military or industry experience may substitute for the specific educational requirement)
  • Project/operational management, strategy development and planning, communication, and executive decision support experience
  • Proficient stakeholder communication skills at the most senior levels of Government
  • Proficiency with MS Office suite
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects/tasks and deliver high-quality, timely work products
  • Experience assessing urgent workload assignments and driving them to timely conclusion
  • Requires an active Secret level security clearance
