What are your main tasks?

What we are lookingfor:

GRAMMER is seeking an experienced Program Manager toindependently manage commercial vehicle programs from quote through launch andproduction. This role is responsible for owning cost, timing, and cross-functionalexecution, ensuring customer requirements and internal commitments areconsistently met.

The Program Manager will work closely with engineering,manufacturing, purchasing, sales, and operations teams, serving as the primarypoint of coordination throughout the program lifecycle. This is a hands-on,execution-focused role managing programs-not people-and is best suited for acandidate who brings prior program management experience in a manufacturingenvironment and can operate effectively with minimal oversight.

What you will be doing:

Program Execution & Delivery
  • Lead overall program execution to ensure cost, timing, and customer requirements are met from quote through launch and production.
  • Develop and manage program timelines, ensuring key milestones and phase deliverables are achieved and documented.
  • Coordinate and drive cross-functional teams across engineering, manufacturing, purchasing, operations, and sales.
  • Prepare and present regular program status updates to internal leadership and customers as required.

Financial & Commercial Management
  • Develop and manage internal costing models and support profitability analysis for assigned programs.
  • Manage program budgets across the full lifecycle, tracking performance and escalating risks as needed.
  • Support new business acquisition by coordinating quote activities, including cost development, timing, and cross-functional inputs.

Change Management & Configuration Control
  • Manage engineering changes and configuration control throughout the program lifecycle.
  • Maintain accurate change tracking documentation to ensure alignment across internal teams, suppliers, and customers.
  • Communicate changes effectively to manufacturing and suppliers to minimize disruption and avoid launch risk.

Issue Resolution & Cross-Functional Coordination
  • Lead issue identification and resolution using structured problem-solving methodologies.
  • Ensure timely containment and permanent corrective actions for product or process issues.
  • Serve as the primary point of coordination for internal teams and customers, promoting clear communication and alignment.

Required Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience in a Program Management role within a manufacturing environment
  • Demonstrated experience managing programs across the full lifecycle, from quote through launch and production
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams across engineering, manufacturing, purchasing, and operations
  • Strong financial acumen, including cost models, budgets, and profitability analysis
  • Effective problem-solving skills with experience leading issue resolution and corrective actions
  • Strong organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Proficiency with standard business tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint; project tracking tools)

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in the automotive or commercial vehicle industry (seating or interior systems preferred)
  • Familiarity with OEM development processes, PPAP, and change management practices
  • Knowledge of ISO/TS 16949 or similar quality management systems
  • Experience supporting or leading global or cross-regional projects
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field
