DescriptionThe Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Sector, Air Dominance Division is seeking a
Program Manager 2 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This leadership position is located in
Oklahoma City, OK and involves travel.
The Program Manager leads all phases of key Program operations, manages the day-to-day administration, logistics, and workflow of organizational projects to ensure efficiency, compliance, and goal achievement. Develops and oversees project schedules, manages data, improves operational processes, and serves as a liaison between teams and internal stakeholders. Implements and supports the daily, ongoing operations of the program to meet organizational objectives. Analyzes workflows to identify bottlenecks, driving efficiency, and implements best practices. Tracks key performance metrics, creates analytical reports, and manages data systems. Point of contact for internal teams, partners, and vendors to ensure alignment. Responsible for the
cost,
schedule and
technical performance of company programs or subsystems of major programs. Participates in the negotiation of contract and contract changes. Coordinates the preparation of proposals, business plans, proposal work statements, and specifications of procurement contracts. Establishes milestones and monitors adherence to master plans and schedules, identifies program problems and obtains solutions, such as allocation of resources. Directs the work of employees assigned to the program from procurement activities to administrative areas.

Basic Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree and 10 years (or Bachelor of Science in STEM and 9 years) of related experience as defined below, OR a Master's degree and 8 years (or Master of Science in STEM and 7 years) of related experience as defined below:
- Related experience includes professional and/or military experience to include a background in project management, program management, engineering, capture efforts, and/or business management related functions.
- Must have an active U.S. Government Top Secret or higher clearance (with a background investigation completed within the last 6 years or currently enrolled into Continuous Evaluation).
- Must have the ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) clearance within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company.
- Willing to travel up to 10% of the time.
- Experience in Global Supply Chain Management.
- Ability to obtain SCI/SAP.
Preferred Qualifications:- Experience leading cross-functional teams.
- Experience with data analysis & reporting software; Microsoft Excel, Tableau, etc.
- Experience in managing geographically separated teams.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Strong financial acumen.
- Demonstrated success in root cause analysis, continuous improvement, and improvements to customer experience.
Primary Level Salary Range: $131,800.00 - $197,800.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
