Standard Job DescriptionDirects all phases of programs from inception through completion. Responsible for coordinating subordinate employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessment, work assignments, salary, and recognition/disciplinary actions. Responsible for the cost, schedule and technical performance of company programs or subsystems of major programs. Participates in the negotiation of contract and contract changes. Coordinates the preparation of proposals, business plans, proposal work statements and specifications, operating budgets and financial terms/conditions of contract. Acts as primary customer contact for program activities, leading program review sessions with customer to discuss cost, schedule, and technical performance. Establishes design concepts, criteria and engineering efforts for product research, development, integration and test. Develops new business or expands the product line with the customer. Establishes milestones and monitors adherence to master plans and schedules, identifies program problems and obtains solutions, such as allocation of resources or changing contractual specifications. Directs the work of employees assigned to the program from technical, manufacturing and administrative areas.
Basic Qualifications- Lead the pursuit of strategic and operational opportunities in alignment with the established business strategy, including campaigns to secure CRAD, development programs, and production contracts.
- Proven track record of leading large scale, complex system and technology development programs over geographically dispersed locations, including multiple major external partners and subcontractors.
- Demonstrated Full Spectrum Leadership skills and experience leading diverse, distributed, and virtual teams. Adept at working within matrix organizations for executing and proposing programs.
- Strong customer collaboration experience, specifically in the areas of SOW development, contract modification, and schedule integration. Establishes project objectives, budgets, milestones and performance standards.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college, or equivalent experience/combined education, with professional experience and specialized training commensurate with assignment.
Desired Skills- Partners with business development and capture leaders to cultivate future contract opportunities that expand existing product lines with new or existing customers.
- Experience with accelerated acquisition and procurement processes as well as proven expertise transitioning developmental technology into production.
- Demonstrated business acumen to include experiences in Earned Value Management, contract negotiations, performance metrics, and portfolio management.
- Experience with new business capture milestones, proposals, and a demonstrated ability to adapt to changing environments.
- Ability to obtain security clearance, if needed
Pay InformationGeoZone Definition: GeoZones are geographic groupings created by Lockheed Martin to align compensation ranges with regional labor markets and cost-of-labor differences across the United States. Locations are assigned a Geo Zone based on the primary work location of the role.
- Full-time salary range (GEOZONE 1): $228100.00 - $423700.00

- Full-time salary range (GEOZONE 2): $205300.00 - $381300.00
- Includes metropolitan areas such as Denver, CO; King of Prussia, PA; Stratford, CT; Moorestown, NJ; etc.
- Full-time salary range (GEOZONE 3): $182500.00 - $338900.00
- Includes metropolitan areas such as Dallas-Fort Worth, TX; Orlando, FL; Grand Prairie, TX; Marietta, GA; etc.
- Full-time salary range (GEOZONE 4): $164200.00 - $305000.00
- Includes metropolitan areas such as Camden, AR; Lexington, KY; Ocala, FL; Lufkin, TX; etc.

PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
