The Air Force Civilian Service (AFCS) is looking for a Full-Time Program Management Specialist (NH-0301-03) to work at Air Force Materiel Command, (AFMC) in the Air Force Sustainment Center location at Peterson Space Force Base, CO. Program Management & Executive Services Specialist

Serve as a strategic business partner and key operational lead within the Software Directorate. In this high-impact, dual-hatted role, you will lead the Director's Action Group and drive critical executive support operations while managing complex program management, logistics, and resource optimization across the entire enterprise.

What you will accomplish:

- Direct Executive Impact: Work hand-in-hand with Group and Division leadership, providing continuous strategic counsel, expert advice, and accountability to shape organizational decisions.

- Central Nerve Center Authority: Run the Director's Action Group, directing vital administrative, knowledge management, and protocol operations that keep the Directorate running smoothly.

- Comprehensive Logistics & Strategy: Shape enterprise-wide logistics support plans, analyze critical programmatic data, and steer continuous process improvements to guarantee mission success.

- Executive & Directorate Support: Lead Group-level administrative programs, including protocol, high-profile briefings, tours, morale efforts, and complex suspense/records management.

- Program & Logistics Planning: Develop and execute robust logistics support plans, establish key performance metrics, and ensure full compliance with regulatory frameworks.

- Stakeholder Coordination: Act as a prime organizational liaison to sync internal and external stakeholders, resolve operational bottlenecks, and champion business process improvements.

- Policy & Personnel Support: Oversee internal policy development and communication strategies designed to strengthen and support the Software Directorate's workforce.

If you are:

- A master organizer and coordinator with extensive experience managing executive operations, protocol, and high-visibility corporate actions.

- A rigorous program analyst skilled in logistics management, data-driven decision-making, and resource allocation.

- A polished communicator capable of advising senior military leaders, building stakeholder consensus, and navigating complex bureaucratic environments.

QUALIFICATIONS:

- Must be able to obtain and maintain the appropriate security clearance.

- Work may occasionally require travel away from the normal duty station on military or commercial aircraft.

- May occasionally be required to work other than normal duty hours.

REQUIREMENTS:

1. Extensive knowledge and skill in applying analytical and evaluative techniques for the identification,

consideration, and resolution of issues or problems concerning efficiency and effectiveness of the program and/or strategic sourcing.

2. Master knowledge of overall missions, functions, and organization of the agency or component. Ability to apply the knowledge to evaluate current organizational strategies and performance.

3. Extensive knowledge of organizational concepts, principles, and practices as related to the requirements for performance-based logistics, acquisition., supply maintenance, procurement procedures, manufacturing, strategic sourcing, and other support areas.

4. Ability to work with, lead, and manage various groups or individuals to resolve difficult problems/situations as related to organizational issues. Ability to understand and deploy lean concepts in problem resolution.

6. Skill in interpreting and applying complex DOD, USAF, AFMC, and AFSC regulations, methods, operating procedures, and policies, as well as developing methods and operating procedures as required.
