Job DescriptionAt UOP, we have a current opening for a Lead Program Manager. It is the responsibility of a project manager to execute projects by planning, organizing and controlling all elements of the project from sales turnover to plant start up. The project manager works in collaboration with all functional groups within UOP, vendors and customer representatives to ensure that all project requirements are met as laid out in the contract. The Project Manager is responsible for managing customer relationship as well as coaching and guiding project execution team.
You will report directly to our Program Director and you'll work out of our Tulsa, OK or Houston, TX locations on a hybrid work schedule.
ResponsibilitiesKEY RESPONSIBILITIES- Review project deliverables internally and coordinate issuance to customer
- Verify the fulfillment of contract requirements
- Communicate and ensure the incorporation of customer specifications
- Develop & manage project schedules based on equipment deliveries and manpower allocations
- Obtain an as-sold budget from contract/sales and manage project financials in detail throughout project lifecycle
- Ensure communication of project changes to the project team
- Ensure that all equipment, valves, and instrumentation are procured based on schedule and specification.
- Review and approve vendor invoices for payment & manage vendor deliverables working with Procurement
- Coordinate communication with customer throughout the project life-cycle
- Provide monthly progress reports and financial updates on assigned projects
- Meet project schedule, budget and quality requirements as defined in performance metrics.
- Coordinate project activities w/in SAP and CORA and working closely with Project Controls Department
QualificationsYOU MUST HAVE- 7+ years' experience in program management, project engineering, project controls or project support
WE VALUE- Bachelor's degree
- Expertise with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), CORA, and financial systems (Sales Force, SAP, etc.).
- Proactive and resourceful self-starter, with ability to multi-task
- Project Management certification (PMP) preferred
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Strong multi-tasking skills, analytical skills, project delivery & financial skills
- Ability to work in ambiguous situations
- Experience with gas processing plants, EPC, and/or site construction management is a plus
- Flexibility in 10% domestic and international travel when required
