Position Title Program Growth and Quality Manager
Position Summary The Program Growth and Quality Manager (PGQM) provides support to the Donald School of Business (DSB) in the design, development, approval and continuous quality improvement of credit and non-credit courses and programs.
The PGQM works within institutional frameworks to collaborate with DSB and academic leadership, staff and faculty as well as other internal and external stakeholders to enhance, grow, and innovate learning opportunities within the school
Position Responsibilities New Program Development and Curriculum Leadership- Supports the school's planning, development, revision, and sunsetting of credit and non-credit programs across multiple credential levels.
- Provides input and expertise on curriculum design processes to ensure consistency with institutional frameworks, learning outcomes, and best practices in pedagogy and assessment, particularly for non-credit programming.
- Supports program teams in integrating experiential learning, work-integrated learning, applied research, and industry-aligned competencies.
- Guides program proposal development, including environmental scans, labour-market alignment, and business-case analysis in accordance with RDP frameworks and standards.
- Prepares submissions for institutional and Ministry approvals and funding in consultation with appropriate staff and faculty.
- Tracks and moves forward multiple projects across the school and leads proposal presentations to approving bodies.

- Identifies and engages resources (human or capital), within approved budgets, required to fulfill goals and timelines.
Quality Assurance and Academic Standards- Knows and follows with institutional quality assurance frameworks and timelines for program development, review, and continuous improvement.
- Ensures compliance with internal academic policies and external regulatory, accreditation, and quality-assurance requirements.
- Supports cyclical program reviews and accreditation activities, including data analysis, reporting, and action planning.
- Promotes evidence-based decision-making using student outcomes, enrolment trends, and stakeholder feedback.
Leadership & Collaboration- Provides leadership and mentorship to contractors, staff, faculty, and cross-functional teams involved in program development and quality initiatives.
- Recruits, hires, and manages seconded staff and contracted consultants required for program development and review
- Follows People & Culture policies and procedures, legislation, and collective agreements related to the hiring and management of contracted/seconded staff and faculty.
- Acts as a subject-matter resource on curriculum quality, outcomes-based education, and program innovation as required.
- Contributes to the school's budget and business planning and supports achievement of all identified targets.
- Represents the institution on internal committees and external working groups related to program quality and standards.
Required Qualifications Education- Master's degree in Education, Curriculum Studies, Adult Learning, Educational Leadership, or related discipline.
Experience- Minimum 5 years experience in post-secondary education in instruction, curriculum design, and/or program development.
- 3 - 5 years experience working with quality-assurance frameworks, accreditation processes, and regulatory requirements.
- 3 - 5 years experience in a team lead or management role
- 5 - 7 years experience demonstrated experience in project management
- 5 -7 years experience in preparing proposals for grants, funding agency support, or government approval
