As a Pricing Analyst – Level 3 or Level 4 located in Dulles, VA, you’ll be a linchpin in missions of paramount importance, defining the art of the possible from day one. This position is 100% onsite and cannot accommodate telecommute work.

 

The Pricing Analyst will support efforts associated with proposal development, cost estimating/pricing related duties and analysis in accordance with request for proposal (RFP) specifications, and in compliance with regulatory requirements.  Will coordinate with functional departments to facilitate the collection and accumulation of cost, scheduling, and performance elements and research and analyze historical data and develop cost models to support proposal efforts.  Coordinates activities and participates in fact-finding meetings and cost and pricing reviews with management.

 

This position will work a 9/80 schedule, with every other Friday off.

 

In this job, you will:

  • Develops, evaluates and implements pricing strategies and models based upon current business and competitive market dynamics.
  • Conducts research and performs competitive pricing analysis.
  • Monitors ongoing competitive environment to ensure practices do not adversely impact company reputation or customer satisfaction.
  • Partners with Sales/Marketing, Business Development and Finance to correctly position product portfolio and establish pricing programs aligned with product/sales strategy and revenue recognition requirements.
  • Projects impact of pricing changes, individual promotions and rebate programs on revenue.
  • Creates/administers pricing databases and coordinates implementation of pricing proposals across the organization.
  • Other duties as assigned

Basic Qualifications for Level 3:

  • Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of professional experience – OR – Master’s degree with 3 years of professional experience – OR – PhD with 1 year of professional experience.  Will consider an additional 4+ years of experience in lieu of degree.
  • Requires an active U.S. Government Top-Secret security clearance at time of application, current and within scope
  • Proposal/Pricing experience
  • Experience working in an environment that requires strong analytical and organizational skills.

 Preferred Qualifications:  

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business or Supply chain
  • Knowledge of FAR, DFARS, and other U.S. Federal Government contracting regulations
  • Aerospace/Defense industry experience
  • Knowledge of Cost Accounting Standards
  • Experience with program cost analysis in an engineering and manufacturing environment
  • Experience with ProPricer

Primary Level Salary Range: $94,200.00 - $141,200.00

Secondary Level Salary Range: $117,500.00 - $176,300.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
