Full Job Description
Overview

Amyx, Inc. is seeking a mid-level Program Control Analyst who is a motivated self-starter, detail-oriented, and accustomed to working in a fast-paced environment. This individual should be able to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic setting. Under limited supervision, the Program Control Analyst partners with program managers and operations to provide program control support across programs and business divisions.

Responsibilities

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Participate in financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting cycles, ensuring timely and accurate analytics in collaboration with FP&A
  • Create, monitor, and update Estimates at Completion (EACs).
  • Serve as a liaison between operations and administrative support teams on financial, staffing, and contractual matters.
  • Perform variance analysis for Revenue, Cost, and Gross Margin.
  • Interface with subcontractors, vendors, and customers as needed.
  • Collaborate with Contracts to understand funding alignment and manage 75% funding notifications.
  • Lead monthly program reviews alongside operations.
  • Contribute to program management efforts, including planning and financial forecasting.
  • Maintain a customer service mindset.
  • Help implement policies and procedures for program controls, including cost control, financial analysis, and project status reporting.
  • Develop materials for monthly leadership presentations.
  • Manage the preparation of monthly and quarterly progress reports for various programs.
  • Provide and present monthly program updates to management.
  • Communicate accurate and timely information effectively.
  • Create Purchase Requisition alongside subcontractor administrator
  • Experience with reading government contractual documentation including contract awards, modifications, and amendments.
  • Must have the ability to communicate accurate information


Qualifications

Required:

  • Experience with complex financial spreadsheets (MS Excel) and formulas
  • General FAR understanding
  • Analytical aptitude and a strong drive to learn
  • BA/BS degree and 2-4 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 2 years of prior relevant experience.


Desired:
  • Previous experience working in a middle-market GovCon business
