Qualifications

• Valid Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license required; multiple state licenses a plus.
• Essential field and office experience in land surveying; strong attention to detail needed.
• Proven ability to acquire new clients and generate revenue is a must.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for team collaboration and following direction.
• Demonstrated experience managing survey crews effectively.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work remotely.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and/or Carlson Survey; Quickbase experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage survey technicians to ensure project success.
• Perform boundary, easement, deed, and title reviews thoroughly.
• Conduct detailed research at town, county, and state levels.
• Evaluate surveys, field notes, maps, and aerial photographs for project constraints.
• Perform calculations of project quantities and volumes accurately.
• Communicate daily with crew chiefs and operations team to coordinate efforts.
• Collaborate with drafting managers and design staff to provide updates and resolve challenges.
