Production Team Leader

Slave Lake, Alberta

Our Production Team Leaders build the foundation of our business. They engage their teams, keep employees safe and operations running smoothly! If you're a leader at heart, have production experience and want to make a real impact, come join us!

We're looking for a Production Team Leader to join our Athabasca OSB Division,located in Slave Lake, Alberta. This state-of-the-art facility has the longest continuous press in North America, giving us the ability to produce a diverse range of innovative products for customers around the world.

Our ideal candidate has the following qualifications:

  • Completion of Grade 12.Completion of post-secondary education in Engineering, Wood Sciences, or a related program is an asset.
  • Demonstrated focus on safety.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • 2-3 years experience leading a team. Completion of a supervisory or leadership certificate is an asset.
  • 3-5 years experience in a manufacturing setting (wood products manufacturing preferred).
  • Experience in a shiftwork setting and continuous press experience is an asset.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
