Your profile

A Bachelor's Degree (B.S) in Engineering (Mechanical engineering preferred)

8-10 years Engineering experiences in the execution of Services Mods&Ups or new unit projects preferred (Systems engineering or Mechanical Engineering)

Advanced knowledge of reciprocating engine fuel, air, ignition, cooling, and lubrication systems preferred.

Must possess a high level of problem-solving skills; strong verbal and written communication skills; organizational and prioritizing skills; ability to work with multi-disciplinary team members

Knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook), Globus, SAP and CAD programs.

Willing to travel up to 30% of the time (Both Domestic and Internationally)

Your responsibilities

Consult with clients to conceive and prescribe integrated solutions to meet customer needs.

Engine combustion-related mechanical system integration know-how owner.

Mechanical system design, development, validation, and BOM creation to meet client needs.

Responsible for technical documentation of projects including the usage of Globus and SAP

Ensures technical integrity of projects assigned to function. This includes any field problems that may arise requiring coordination with project management, technical support, marketing, and sales.

Read, create and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, or computer-generated reports.

Reviews orders and quotations to verify compliance from a technical, safety and regulatory viewpoint and ensures all requirements are met.

Drive and participate in standardization program for cost reduction and product simplification to ensure engineering is of the highest quality, and at minimum cost.

Keeps abreast of technical state-of-the art advances ensuring management awareness.

Representing Siemens Energy in front of customers and conferences.

Writing and presenting technical white papers.
