Your Role

As Production Supervisor, you'll take on real challenges that bring out your full potential. Your scope includes:
  • Lead incident investigations and ensure proper implementation of corrective actions (ConformIT).
  • Promote employee participation in safety programs and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure all equipment execute the schedule of the day according to established standards and operating strategies.
  • Own and monitor SQDEP metrics for the assigned shift and implement corrective actions when required.
  • Communicate unresolved issues during shift handovers (T1) to ensure continuity.
  • Build a high-performance team culture through coaching and daily leadership engagement with regular Gemba Walk.
  • Track and support skills matrix progression and cross-training initiatives.
  • Motivate and engage employees to achieve operational and safety excellence.
  • Address employee concerns and resolve conflicts in a fair, timely, and professional manner.
  • Foster positive labour relations by working collaboratively within a unionized environment and ensuring compliance with the collective agreement.


What you bring

You're a natural fit for Production Supervisor if you have:
  • Experience in a supervisory or leadership role, ideally in manufacturing
  • Experience working in a unionized manufacturing environment, including the application and interpretation of collective agreements and labour relations practices, is strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams, drive engagement, and manage performance
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Ability to prioritize and operate effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated ability to hold employees accountable while building a positive and respectful work environment.
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles such as 5S, Kaizen, Root Cause Analysis, or Continuous Improvement methodologies is an asset
