The Job You Will Perform: - Must comply and support all applicable GMPs, Site Security, and Food Packaging Defense requirements that are referenced in the facilities GFSI food packaging safety program.
- Ensure Safety is the first priority of all employees. Lead all employee in all company safety inititives, foster a safe work environment and enforce and support safety policies and rules.
- Responsible for the overall productivity of the facility.
- Responsible for maintaining department supplies.
- Responsible for monitoring, following, correcting plant waste.
- Analyzes, organizes, coordinates, and reports on activities within the department.
- Responsible for weekly and monthly safety meetings and tours.
- Responsible for correct machine production reporting.
- Knowledge of printing inks/color management.
- Responsible for industry and DS Smith specifications on all products.
- Ability to problem solve and rectify issues.
- Maintain close, positive working relationships with other supervisors, maintenance, accounting and scheduling department.
- Manages/Coaches crew to insure productivity, quality, and maintenance goals are made.
The Skills You Will Bring: - High school diploma or GED
- 5-10 year of related experience or training
