Full Job Description
A Snapshot of Your Day
Join us as a Production Planner for the Small Assembly area within the Steam Turbine Service Operations business! In this dynamic role, you will lead the scheduling and coordination activities that are vital for supporting critical customer outages. As a key partner to the operations manager, you will align teams, resources, and capabilities to ensure precise component delivery and achieve operational excellence.

How You'll Make an Impact

  • Develop various products, from high-level schedules to detailed schedules for work and managing critical resources.
  • Analyze schedule critical paths, milestone trends, performance deviations, resource bottlenecks, etc. to make recommendations to improve outage delivery.
  • Maintain a reference library of schedule templates, adjusted for actual performance data and best practices, for use by shop personnel.
  • Investigate, evaluate, and adapt scheduling and analysis tools and process for Service operations.
  • Consult with other product line teams and as required, customers, to coordinate and integrate schedules.
  • Provide scheduling training and coaching to shop floor personnel.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or related, or a technical degree. 5+ years' experience maintaining turbines or generators; scheduling experience.
  • Experience with P6 Primavera critical path scheduling.
  • Experience scheduling large projects in engineering, oil and gas, or construction industries.
  • Experience performing what-if analysis in P6, baselining schedules and handling schedule disruptions.
  • Positive, supporting attitude, a focus on serving internal/external customers.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Plus: professional scheduling, estimating, or project management certifications
