Job DescriptionThe
Production Planner will assist with scheduling production orders, monitoring inventory levels, supporting on-time delivery goals, and coordinating with Purchasing, Manufacturing, Warehouse, and Customer Service teams. The successful candidate will have strong organizational skills, analytical abilities, and a desire to learn planning processes and ERP systems.
Responsibilities- Create and maintain production schedules based on customer demand and inventory requirements.
- Release and monitor work orders to support on-time production and shipment goals.
- Coordinate daily with Manufacturing, Warehouse, Purchasing, and Customer Service teams.
- Track production progress and communicate schedule changes or potential delays.
- Monitor inventory levels and identify material shortages that could impact production.
- Maintain accurate planning data and transactions within the ERP system.
- Generate reports and assist with analyzing production performance, inventory trends, and scheduling efficiency.
- Support cycle counts, inventory audits, and inventory reconciliation activities.
- Assist with forecasting and capacity planning activities.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance planning and operational processes.
- Ensure planning activities are completed in accordance with company policies and procedures.
QualificationsRequired- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Associate degree or bachelor's degree in supply chain, Business, Operations, Industrial Engineering, or a related field preferred.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to analyze data and solve problems.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
- Experience working with ERP systems (Oracle, SAP, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar).
Preferred- 0 - 2 years of experience in production planning, scheduling, supply chain, manufacturing operations, inventory control, or a related field. Recent graduates with relevant internships, coursework, or manufacturing experience are encouraged to apply.
- Experience working with ERP systems (Oracle, SAP, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar).
- Knowledge of basic inventory management and production planning concepts.
- Familiarity with manufacturing environments.

For candidates in CA: The pay range for this position is $40.87 - $69.47 hourly, non-exempt, per year.Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional job-related factors, including knowledge, skills, experience, tenure, and relevant education or training.
