Full Job Description
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain detailed production schedules based on demand forecasts, capacity, and material availability.
Maintain and continuously refine core ERP/MRP planning parameters (lead times, safety stock, lot sizes, routing accuracy, and BOM structure) to drive planning accuracy.
Analyze complex production datasets, capacity constraints, and operational bottlenecks to improve throughput, minimize downtime, and reduce total manufacturing lead times.
Translate strategic plans into executable production schedules that maximize efficiency and minimize downtime.
Collaborate daily with Engineering, Procurement, Quality, Finance, and Production leadership to align schedules, resolve material shortages, and ensure strict schedule adherence.
Support Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) processes by synthesizing historical performance data and operational metrics into actionable supply strategies.
Apply data literacy to identify operational trends, driving continuous improvement initiatives across scheduling efficiency and facility utilization.
Education & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Business Administration, or Industrial Engineering from an accredited institution.
2-7+ years of hands-on experience in production planning, scheduling, or manufacturing operations within an ERP-driven environment
Qualifications
Strong understanding of capacity planning, finite scheduling, and production flow.
Experience working in an ERP/MRP environment (e.g., GSS, Business Dynamics, SAP, or similar).
Ability to analyze data and translate it into actionable production strategies.
Strong understanding of manufacturing machine end uses and full logistics responsibilities in a manufacturing production environment are preferred.
Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
Preferred Experience (Not Required):
Department of Defense experience.
Advanced Excel skills; experience with data analysis and reporting tools.
Microsoft Dynamics ERP experience.
Compensation Range (Required)
Base Salary Range: $85,000 - $100,000
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Majority of work is performed in a manufacturing environment with noise levels within safety limits and acceptable lighting and temperature conditions.
