Full Job Description
Production Operations Specialist Company: The Boeing Company Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a Production Operations Specialist (Associate or Mid-level) to join the Air Dominance Operations team in the Advanced Composite Fabrication Center (ACFC) located in Mesa, AZ! This position will require strong teamwork and communication skills to effectively work with the build team to support various proprietary programs. Ideal candidates will possess strong leadership skills and the ability to adapt to a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Position Responsibilities: • Develops and implements manufacturing processes composite fabrication operations. • Coordinates with Materials & Processes and engineering support teams • Reviews and approves technical documents to include impacts to production • Compiles and provides management status reports for action. • Serves as primary interface with internal customers • Analyzes changing trends and assists and/or develops projected manpower allocation. • Leads projects and participates in technical research on proposed projects. • Assists with the preparation and justification for major capital expenditures and equipment implementation. • Translates data into actionable plan for implementation within the organization This position is expected to be 100% onsite on 2nd shift. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite in Mesa, AZ. Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): • Ability to obtain Government Security Clearance post start • 1+ year of experience in Operations and/or manufacturing processes • 1+ year of experience coordinating with Materials & Processes, engineering and/or other engineering support. • 1+ year of experience analyzing, deriving and/or allocating requirements • 1+ year of experience translating data into actionable insights and recommendations • 1+ year of experience developing, modifying, and documenting actions to assure problem resolution and/or to implement corrective action and/or preventive action • Proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Project, and the ability to learn in house systems. Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): • Bachelor's Degree • Active Secret Security Clearance • Experience with Advanced Composite Fabrication • Experience directly supporting a proprietary program • Experience using excellent verbal and written communication skills with leadership and colleagues in an operations environment. Level 3 • 3+ years of experience in reviewing and approving technical documents to include cure recipes, post cure analysis, and acceptance criteria. • 3+ years of experience leading projects and participating in technical research on proposed projects. • 3+ years of experience assisting with the preparation and justification for major capital expenditures and equipment implementation Security Clearance and Export Control Requirements: This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. A final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.
