  • Implement Lean Manufacturing:Introduce Lean methodologies, 5S workplace organization, and waste-reduction strategies across the shop floor.
  • Workflow Scheduling:Build and manage detailed production schedules aligned with sales forecasts, raw material supply timelines, and client project deadlines.
  • Quality & Material Control: Establish strict quality control (QC) tracking systems, standardize raw material intake, and minimize finished goods variances.
  • Safety Leadership: Enforce strict OSHA guidelines and establish updated safety protocols tailored to new manufacturing equipment.
  • KPI Tracking & Reporting: Define and track critical shop metrics (e.g., cycle times, yield rates, scrap costs) and report progress directly to executive leadership.

Who you are:
  • Education: High School Diploma or GED required; a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field is highly preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years in production management, with preferred exposure to both mechanical/modular prefabrication and plant-based industrial manufacturing.
  • Scale Capability: Proven track record of participating in or leading an operational scale-up, factory layout optimization, or continuous improvement transformation.
  • Technical Skills: Strong proficiency with MRP/ERP software, manufacturing asset tracking, and reading complex architectural, MEP, or industrial blueprints.
  • Leadership:Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to gain buy-in from seasoned field tradespeople adopting new manufacturing habits.
  • Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged periods on concrete surfaces.
