Production Manager

We are looking for Production Manager. This position will be based at our Heber Springs, AR facility.

Responsibilities
  • Plan and lead all resources including people, plant, material, tools, and third-party services to meet the operational requirements. Develop and implement production plan to meet business targets, keeping deferred work to a minimum. Ensure optimum shift coverage, minimizing downtime, complaints, or delay to our customers.
  • Understand customer requirements and develop good relationships with customers by ensuring consistent delivery of targets and dealing with customer concerns promptly.
  • Communicate health and safety responsibilities to your team (or virtual team) and ensure employees raise issues. Take reasonable care to avoid acts or omissions that may have an environmental impact. Accept personal responsibility to take care of ourselves and any others affected by one's own acts or omissions.
  • Employee safety and wellbeing must be at the forefront of your team management activities. Develop a high-performance culture with strong employee engagement using the Siemens People Management policies and tools. Enable the growth and development of individuals, championing their development and enabling them to develop using the "Lead your Career" strategy.
  • The role is also accountable for ensuring our end customer requirements are understood and continuous improvement plans are in place to enhance opportunities for cost reduction, improved quality, and efficiency.

Basic Qualifications:
  • Management or supervisory experience in a technical position
  • Technical knowledge of Rolling Stock maintenance
  • procedures/practices engineering ONC or equivalent qualification or experience.

  • Strong organization skills.
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship

  • Contract/Commercial knowledge

The pay range for this position is $61,547 - $105,509 annually. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
