As a Production Manager, you9ll provide effective leadership and coordination for production supervisors, leaders, and operators. The Production Manager is responsible for upholding plant policies and procedures, maintaining safety, quality, and production standards, and developing reports on safety, quality, and production information for areas of responsibility. Throughout your tenure with us, you9ll obtain a high level of knowledge in how the business operates to ensure the smooth operation of the production facility.
- Coordinate and implement strategies for safety, sanitation, productivity, and cost saving enhancements.
- Achieve high levels of asset intensity by reducing unplanned stops, speed loss, waste generation, and optimizing planned downtime performance.
- Facilitate Continuous Improvement (CI) efforts in alignment with Nestle9 Continuous Excellence (NCE).
- Present problem solving expertise by identifying root causes for problem areas and recommending possible solutions.
- Provide post-installation analysis of new technology and capital equipment installations.
- Certify that finished products are consistently manufactured, meeting prescribed standards (compliant), on time and meeting consumer expectations through coaching of employees.
- Ensure employees are trained and clear on safety expectations, including, but not limited to, completion of behavioral based safety observations, workplace exams, safety meetings, and other safety communication.
Requirements - Bachelor9s degree in engineering, science, or related field
- 3+ years9 of experience in a production or operations leadership role within a manufacturing, military, or related environment
Salary: $101,484.90 to $139,177.00 per year
